About the painter Xiong Ming

Xiong Ming studied in the oil painting department of Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts (now China Academy of Fine Arts) in 1988, and studied with teachers such as Quan Shanshi, Ma Yuru, Qin Dahu, Xu mangyao, Huang Deyi, Jin Mei, etc. In July 2011, invited by the Italian artists' Union, he went to Italy to exhibit his works. The "Chinese flavor" oil painting style created by the painter Xiong Ming has certain repercussions in the local oil painting industry. He is now a contract painter for the Louvre in France.
